To schedule a bike fit, just reach out via email, text or voice. Text is the quickest way to reach me most of the time.

I do all of my fittings at my Grand Junction Studio:

2497 Power Rd, Unit #4, Grand Junction, CO 81507

To the fitting bring you and your bike (of course) and be prepared to ride — I’ll get you up on a stationary trainer and get you pedaling while we measure with some infrared motion capture as well as saddle pressure analysis. After a full round of data is captured, I’ll assess it and we’ll discuss and make any necessary changes to your fitting at that time. Then we’ll re-test. We may test, make changes, and re-test multiple times in one session.

Generally a more cautious approach is rewarded and during the fitting I will often try to barely undershoot the necessary changes. This is because your body often needs time to ride in this new position. Using the infrared and saddle pressure is great because we can see small changes in your mechanics take place right away. But even after you leave my studio after that fitting, your body will continue to adapt to the changes and your mechanics will change further at least for the next 6-10 rides. It is for this reason that I try to undershoot slightly because some people will adapt within standard parameters while others may change more drastically.

After the fitting I usually tell clients to get through about 6-10 rides before returning — but if something really feels “off” then reach out and we’ll get you back in sooner. Within the three month check-up period, some clients come back in once, while others may choose to return more than once based on how they’re feeling, or simply just to double-check.
