John Weirath PT
My journey as a bike fitter began when I graduated from physical therapy school in 1997 (Chicago Medical School). Since then I’ve worked in just about every aspect of physical therapy, but I’ve always had a special affinity for athletes — be they professionals or weekend warriors.
I did my first 5K in 1988; my first triathlon in 1993. I’ve competed in road bike racing, foot races up to 50K, triathlons (on and off-road including Ironmans, and mountain bike races including a number of solo 24-hour races. Oh yeah, I’ve also done the Leadville 100 (in just under 9 hours thankfully).
I love to read, ride, and run. I’m addicted to learning new things from YouTube videos — woodworking especially. I’m a homebody at heart, so I love to spend weekends at home with my wife and two boys.
